The currently accepted model of the universe tells us it is finite, and encapsulated within a 2 dimensional shell. This shell contains all the information that "runs" the universe, and everything within that shell is simply a three dimensional projection of that information, much like a hologram. Which is to say, nothing we see, including our own bodies, is actually here. We are simply interpreting a visual representation of data, and our brains are doing what they do with it, which is to apply meaning and make it "real." But it's not. I wish I had been told since I was a toddler, "That ball you're playing with isn't really there." And so on. Because then I would have a better sense of reality. As it is, most people have no clue as to what's real. Reality is said to be subjective, but that's as a matter of saying we each interpret the data differently. Because, as an example, our eyes only perceive 60% of what's in front of us. The brain fills in the rest. It uses experience, typically. Which goes a long way to explain crazy people. If you were abused as a child, and you see someone holding a bat, while someone else may say, "Oh, he's on the way to play some baseball." you may think, "Ohy my gosh, he's going to hurt someone with that." And the fear would be very real, even though it stems from your head and not any particular situation at hand. And so most of life is how you view it and not what's being viewed. Which goes to the saying, "Love is all there is." If you choose to view everything that happens as an act somehow out of love, we live in a beautiful world. If you think people are malicious, well, I don't know what kind of hell you must live in. But that's your hell you've created and there's no reason for it. You can choose to see the world any which way you want, so by choosing a positive format, you have a better life. Try putting some positive energy out there and see what you get!
